Limited Direct Support
These apps don't broadcast their audio session ID, so Echo can't attach to them directly. But don't worry — you can still enhance their audio.
Use Global Mix for these apps
Echo's Global Mix mode processes all system audio at once, so it works with every app on your device — including the ones listed above. Your music will still sound enhanced, just through a different audio path.
How to enable Global Mix:
- 1Open Echo Equalizer.
- 2If no player is detected, Echo will automatically attach to Global Mix.
- 3You can also manually enable it from Settings → Global/Legacy processing.
- 4Reboot your device for best results.
Why are some apps “unsupported”?
For Echo to attach directly to a music player, the app needs to broadcast its audio session ID. Some apps — like Amazon Music, Tidal, and YouTube — don't send this broadcast, which prevents direct integration. This is a limitation on the app's side, not Echo's. However, you can always use Global Mix to enhance audio from any app on your device, so nothing is truly “unsupported”.
